Abhyanga

Kizhi

After Abhyanga massage with medicated oils, Kizhi (poultice in Malayalam) is made with various herbs and spices, densely packed, and dipped in heated medicated oil to massage the whole body. It’s a deeply relaxing experience and is perfect for skin and tissue repair.
Njavara Kizhi

Njavara Kizhi is a type of Brimhana Swedana, which means “to perspire the bulk in the body”. It is a highly nourishing therapy that helps in stimulation of the peripheral nerve endings, strengthening of muscles, and overall well-being.
Sarvanga Dhara
Duration: 45 mins
Sarvanga means the whole body, and Dhara means continuous pouring. This involves a continuous stream of warm, medicated oil or milk being poured over the entire body, often accompanied by gentle massage, to promote relaxation, detoxification, and rejuvenation.
Shirodhara
Duration: 35 mins
A relaxing therapy performed with lukewarm medicated oil/milk/buttermilk, gently poured in a stream over the forehead. It is well known for diffusing tension, curing headaches, improving sleep, and preventing premature greying of hair.
Nasyam
Duration: 20 mins
A very powerful therapy that involves administering of medicated herbal oils through the nostrils, and helps reduce headaches, migraines, sinus, congestion, allergies, nose bleeding, dry nasal passages and insomnia.
