Proximity
Skylar Seaview is about 40 kms from Trivandrum International Airport, and takes just about an hour to reach.
Yes. We provide airport transfers as a paid service. We suggest that you call us at least 24 hours ahead of your arrival to confirm your requirement.
Our cliff-beach resort is just 2 kms or 5 minutes’ drive from Varkala town center.
The beach is not even meters from our resort premises. Yes, you can walk to the beach directly from your room, through our private beach access. It is usually open from 7 am to 7 pm.
Note: The private direct beach access may be closed during monsoon season or bad weather.

Other than Standard Rooms, Skylar Seaview has 5 types of rooms:
Honeymoon Suite with Sea View | Superior Sea View Rooms | Pool View Rooms with Partial Sea View | Garden View Rooms with Partial Sea View | Garden View Rooms (without sea view). You can have a video walkthrough of all the rooms here.
Please note that lift facility is available for the building that houses the Reception, which has the Superior Sea View Rooms, Garden View Rooms (without sea view), and a few Standard Rooms (with no views).
The only access to the upper floors of the other two buildings is through stairs. They have the Garden View Rooms with Partial Sea View, Pool View Rooms with Partial Sea View, and Honeymoon Suite with Sea View.
Please note that Standard Rooms do not come with sea view or private balcony. And not all Garden View Rooms come with sea view. Only a few do – with partial sea view.
All other rooms come with sea view or a partial sea view, along with a private balcony. Superior Sea View Rooms come with the best views: of the sea, pool and the open lawn!
Cost of stay at our resort for a day varies depending on a few factors, including but not limited to the type of room, day(s) and date(s) of stay, food & beverages, and the paid local tours and/or outdoor activities you choose to engage in during your stay.
Standard Rooms usually start at INR 4,500/- per night (47 USD approx.). You can find how much each room costs today, by clicking here.
We accept credit cards, debit cards and cash. The credit cards we accept are: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Diners Club, JCB International, Union Pay, and Carte Blanche.
Our front desk is open round the clock. If you need arrangements for check-in, please ensure contacting us, preferably 48 hours before your arrival.
Absolutely! In fact, most of our guests visit as a family for a vacation or a get-together, and have a valuable and fun time during their stay. Many among them specifically stay with us to celebrate their or their family members’ birthdays, anniversaries and other celebrations.
First off, we love pets! But we’re sorry that we do not accommodate pets. We have no pets within our premises.

Yes. We provide free parking for our guests.
Yes. Skylar Seaview beach resort has a 45 x 15 feet outdoor swimming pool, adjoined by kids’ pool within the resort premises. It is open from 8 am to 8 pm.
Yes. Guests have access to our outdoor pool and a Yoga room.
Yes. We have a Banquet Hall that can accommodate 100 people.
Yes. We provide car and bike rental services.
Yes. We provide dry cleaning and laundry services.
Food
Yes. We have an in-house restaurant for our guests. Here are the timings:
Breakfast: 8.30 am – 10 am
Lunch: 12.30 pm – 2.30 pm
Dinner: 7.00 pm – 10 pm.
Kindly Note: Room service is available – only during the designated hours, and not all through the day.
Important Note: As of May 2026, in spite of the prevailing LPG shortages, we are doing our best to serve full menu options. However, there may be certain days when we may have severe challenges – which is beyond our control. We sincerely hope to have your understanding on this.
Yes. Breakfast is complimentary for guests who have booked any room – other than a Standard Room.
Yes. We serve both vegetarian and non-vegetarian food. As a multi-cuisine restaurant, we serve Indian, Chinese, Continental and À la carte.
On an average, the cost of a meal is around INR 800/- (9 to 10 USD approx.)
Yes. There are restaurants and cafés along the cliff, that are within just 50 – 100 meters from our resort.

1 – 8 Kms / 4 – 15 mins | Janardhana Swamy Temple, Varkala Cultural Centre, Sivagiri Mutt, Ponnumthuruthu Island, and Edava Vettakkada Beach.
10-20 Kms / 20-30 mins | Paravur Mangrove Forest, Anjengo Fort, Kappil Beach & Lake, and Perumathur Beach.
20-30 Kms / 45-60 mins | Kilimannoor Palace, and Jatayu Earth’s Center.
